Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' communication and swallowing abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their function.
  • Implement treatment programs designed to achieve or significantly progress toward achievement of outcome goals.
  • Provide assessments and/or screens in response to referrals made to determine area(s) of need for the student within the rural school contract setting.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an ASHA accredited Speech/Language Pathology curriculum, or eligible for graduation within the next 6 months.
  • Master's Degree required.
  • Current Idaho Speech Language Pathologist license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA); or be eligible for, and actively working on completion of the Clinical Fellowship year.
  • Current BLS.

Work Conditions/Hours:

Normal hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Opportunity for 4/10 schedule with blocked time for school documentation, meetings, and travel time considered.
