We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Unit Supervisor to join our team at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of Registered Nurses in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and direct the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Lead and develop a team of Registered Nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and Director to develop and implement unit-specific quality and performance improvement plans.
- Assist with the interview process and performance evaluations of nursing staff, providing recommendations for growth and development.
- Participate in the implementation of the hospital's strategic plan and quality improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
- At least one year of experience as a Clinical Unit Supervisor or equivalent.
- Current California Nursing license.
- Certification in Medical Surgical Nursing preferred.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
