We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. This role involves working directly with students to provide speech and language therapy, conduct assessments, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' communication skills and develop a plan to address any areas of need.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized treatment plans and IEPs to support students' communication goals.
- Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Work with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs and develop strategies to promote effective communication.
- Provide Therapy Sessions: Deliver speech and language therapy sessions in both individual and group settings to support students' communication development.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Keep accurate and timely records of services provided to students.
- Participate in IEP Meetings: Contribute to the development of student educational goals and participate in IEP meetings to ensure students receive the support they need.
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Hold a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid State Licensure: Possess valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP): Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or be a Clinical Fellow (CF) with a strong commitment to pursuing certification.
- Experience in a School Setting: Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable, but not required.
- Strong Communication and Organizational Skills: Possess strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and parents.
