We are seeking a skilled PRN Speech Therapist to join our team at At Home Healthcare. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients communicate effectively and improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' level of function and develop personalized therapy plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide speech therapy services within the scope of practice, adhering to state laws and accepted standards of practice.
- Observe, record, and report patients' responses to treatment and changes in their condition to the supervising nurse and/or physician.
- Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques and strategies to promote effective communication.
- Current licensure in Speech Therapy in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, with access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
