Our development process is agile, with frequent code deployments and a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making through A/B testing. You will play a pivotal role in the entire product lifecycle, from concept to deployment, and have the opportunity to create impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to craft features that enhance our performance metrics.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code, conduct thorough testing, and participate in collaborative code reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for architectural improvements and scalability enhancements within our applications.
  • Develop diagnostic tools and utilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ensure comprehensive technical documentation and design specifications are maintained.
  • Adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment that encourages innovative problem-solving.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in delivering high-performance code to production environments.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language, with a preference for Java or Kotlin, along with familiarity in Python, Ruby, Go, or C.
  • Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, database management, distributed systems, and API development.
  • A passion for problem-solving and a commitment to supporting team objectives.
  • Interest in backend technologies such as search, streaming, and databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
