As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Kandji, you will play a critical role in contributing to our mission by designing and building the core services that power our web application, maintaining security and scalability, and collaborating with our macOS and Infrastructure engineers to deliver world-class products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop large-scale, mission-critical enterprise software using object-oriented languages
  • Work with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or similar cloud infrastructure
  • Develop authoritative understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design
  • Drive data-driven, analytical, hypothesis/validation mindset to identify problems and design solution options
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment of large web applications, and associated build, test, and deployment methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture and modern frameworks on backend and frontend

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional engineering experience
  • Exceptional proficiency in Python, Django, or similar language and web application framework
  • Experience with RESTful API and modern frameworks on backend and frontend
  • Ability to work on-site 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
