We are seeking a skilled Nurse Assistant to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit team at Henry Ford Hospital. As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and mobility assistance.
- Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
- Participate in patient education and support the development of individualized care plans.
- Respond to emergencies and code situations according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or equivalent experience.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
This is a night shift position in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of our patients.
