Data Center Security Installation Project Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Security Installation Project Manager to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN. As a Data Center Security Installation Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the overall administration, organization, and implementation of large data center electronic security installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall financial aspects of the project, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Coordinate and lead project kick-off meetings to ensure a smooth project start.
  • Forecast cash flow and manpower needs to ensure project success.
  • Order materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
  • Prepare price proposals and change orders to ensure project profitability.
  • Provide monthly reports analyzing the budget, schedule, cash flow, and manpower.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures, quality improvement, and best practices.
  • Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of experience.
  • Master's degree plus 0 years of experience.
  • Project management experience with security installation projects.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling software, including Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
  • Experience managing a project budget.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project management experience on security installation projects.
  • Experience preparing pricing documents for new work.
  • Financial management of security installation projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Abilities:
  • Exposure to computer screens for extended periods.
  • Sitting for extended periods.
  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
  • Finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers.
  • Listening and understanding information presented through spoken words.
  • Communicating information and ideas in speaking.
