Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication and treatments with precision and compassion, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Provide specialized care to patients, treating them according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care meticulously, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Educate patients and families on the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, fostering understanding and empowerment in managing their health effectively.

Requirements
  • Current North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse License is required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Attention to Detail, Time Management Skills, Effective Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution, and Good Organization and Effective Communication.
  • Home Health Experience is preferred but not required.
