Nurse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Orthopedic Surgery team at Montefiore Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses to provide exceptional patient care and services.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and services.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Develop and implement education programs for nurses and other healthcare professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse License.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or related field required.
- Master of Science degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of clinical experience in related area required.
- American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification in Specialty Area preferred.
- Effective English communication skills written, oral, and interpersonal.
