Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomographic procedures to diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any concerns or abnormalities to radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist certification in General Practice from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Radiologic Technologist in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty from the ARRT, or Nuclear Medical Tech certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
