Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency and adhering to radiation safety standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography, or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
