Position Overview

Who are we seeking?

We are in search of a dynamic and professional Sales Lead to collaborate closely with the Store Manager. This role is essential in ensuring outstanding customer service, effective merchandise presentation, loss prevention, and the execution of operational tasks as directed by the Store Manager and Field Leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage store opening and closing procedures on designated days.
  • Conduct bank deposits accurately and on time.
  • Process cash refunds for returned items while maintaining professionalism.
  • Ensure accuracy in employee purchases and adhere to the employee discount policy.
  • Handle cash pay-outs for authorized store purchases and services.
  • Implement markdowns on sale and damaged items as instructed.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing merchandise inventory shipments.
  • Inspire and motivate team members to meet sales targets while tracking progress.
  • Ensure customers receive exceptional service through direct engagement and supervision of the sales floor.
  • Communicate daily assignments and initiatives to all staff as outlined by the Store Manager and Corporate Office.
  • Make necessary merchandise and floor adjustments as directed by the Store Manager.
  • Uphold loss prevention standards to protect store assets and property.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, backroom, cash wrap, and all other store areas.
  • Report any customer service issues or incidents involving customers or employees to the Store Manager.
  • Encourage self-training and facilitate training for other staff using available materials.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience, or equivalent education.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in POS systems and other retail software applications.
