A leading organization in the insurance and benefits administration industry is seeking an experienced Corporate Benefits Account Executive to serve as a key service and administrative resource for both large and small group clients.
This role works closely with the designated Senior Account Executive or Account Manager to deliver outstanding client service and ensure smooth administration of benefits programs.
The ideal candidate will act as a primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day issues related to claims, eligibility, and enrollments.
They will collaborate with carriers, payroll vendors, COBRA administrators, and other third-party systems to ensure seamless operations for clients and their covered employees.
This role is vital to supporting client renewals, open enrollment processes, and compliance reviews, contributing significantly to client satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve client issues related to member claims, eligibility, and benefits administration.
- Manage enrollments, terminations, and additions through carrier portals, payroll vendors, and administrative systems.
- Access and manage client data, including invoices, census files, and policy documents, to support account marketing and renewals.
- Assist in preparing for client review meetings and upcoming renewals, coordinating open enrollment, and ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Maintain client communications and deliverables using internal systems such as EPIC.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Health and Group Benefits, Benefits Compliance, Benefits Communications, Human Resources, or related fields.
- Strong technical aptitude with benefits administration and enrollment systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, carrier eligibility systems, and benefits administration systems.
- A valid New Jersey State Life & Health license is required.
