  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of high-caliber Transportation staff alongside Senior Transportation Managers. Monitor performance, provide coaching on service and safety metrics, and administer disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Track production targets and maintain a commitment to accuracy and customer satisfaction. Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve delivery issues while implementing cost-effective and compliant solutions. Ensure adherence to DOT regulations among the team.
  • Identify areas of waste and streamline processes to enhance safety and efficiency in operations.
  • Conduct regular Safety and Driver Meetings.
Ensure the maintenance of driver qualification records.

  • Investigate all incidents, maintain an accident log, analyze causes, and implement preventive measures.
  • Efficiently manage shift scheduling using appropriate planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Compensation for this position is influenced by experience, geographic location, and other legally permissible factors.

In Colorado, the anticipated salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000.

This role qualifies for an annual incentive plan bonus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution is required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in workforce supervision is required.
  • Experience as a driver is advantageous.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of transportation/delivery operations, methods, and procedures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and personnel development capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations, along with familiarity with inventory management, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational data effectively.
  • Basic computer proficiency (i.e., Microsoft Office).

Travel:

  • 10% travel may be necessary, typically for mandatory meetings and/or training sessions.


EDUCATION/TRAINING:

  • High school diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred.
