Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with dentists and general managers to provide work direction and training to dental assistants
  • Instrument preparation and sterilization, including organizing and laying out instruments for use
  • Patient care and interpersonal skills, including questioning patients about their medical history and recording information for dentist's reference
  • Assisting dentists with procedures, including taking x-rays, impressions, and making temporary crowns
  • Administration and infection control, including obtaining patient records and completing dental charting
  • Team support and community outreach, including promoting JDC at neighborhood events and distributing flyers and goodie-bags to the public
Requirements
  • Valid RDA license required
  • CPR certification highly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
