Job Title: Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at The Stratagem Group. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing complex software applications for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical direction and requirement transparency across development teams
  • Perform requirements management, including requirements creation, tracking, flow down, coverage, verification tracking, compliance matrices, etc.
  • Develop test procedures to formally verify system requirements for sell-off events
  • Decompose system requirements and collaborate with multi-disciplined, distributed teams to generate efficient and scalable solutions
  • Support the development, implementation, and verification of mission capabilities
  • Participate in the development and execution of program milestones events, such as customer meetings, internal and formal government testing events, and discrepancy report (DR) review boards
  • Conduct testing events of software solutions and generate test result documentation
Requirements:
  • Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance
  • Effective cross-organizational communicator with the ability to work well in a small team, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop requirements
  • Ability to develop test procedures that verify requirements
  • Ability to develop tracings between requirements, code, and verification
  • Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Cameo Software Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security+, CISSP, or CASP)
  • Experience with using automated tests to sell off formal requirement verification
  • Experience with government Site Acceptance process and procedures
  • Experience in working with software-defined interfaces that use either XML or JSON to both document and implement
  • Experience with SATCOM or GEOINT systems
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engage with virtual teams
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to balance technical requirements with business needs
  • Familiarity with Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for US DoD
  • Experience in the operational deployment of multi-product baselines and functionality
