Job Description
This role is responsible for providing critical support to our Fixed Income Operations team in Newport Beach, CA. As a Sr. Private Placement Investment Operations Analyst I, you will play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by contributing to the efficient handling of complex Private Placement and Alternative investment activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Process trades related to privately placed fixed income, alternative investments, and structured products to support the general account investment portfolio.
- Work closely with Internal and External counsel to facilitate the operational end of closing process, and ensure accurate issuance of physical certs.
- Coordinate with custodian banks, agents, legal counsel, trustees, 3rd Party Investment Mgrs and internal teams to drive an efficient closing process.
Requirements
- 5+ years fixed income experience working in Investment operations/middle office role in asset management, Hedge Fund, or investment banking.
- College degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, ePAM, MS Office Suite.
