As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Masonicare Corp, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This position, officially titled 'Residential Care Assistant', involves providing essential support with daily living activities and personal care, ensuring residents maintain their independence and dignity.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist residents with fundamental daily living tasks tailored to their individual needs, including bathing, dressing, mobility support, toileting, and personal hygiene.

2. Facilitate instrumental activities of daily living, such as managing phone calls, performing light housekeeping, assisting with laundry, and coordinating transportation needs.

3. Support residents in the self-administration of medications through appropriate cueing.

4. Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being to the appropriate supervisory staff.

5. Conduct regular room checks to ensure safety and document any incidents or observations.

6. Assist with dining-related tasks, including meal setup, serving, and cleanup.

7. Engage in resident-centered activities and maintain accurate documentation of care and activities during your shift.

8. Uphold resident advocacy and confidentiality at all times.

9. Communicate effectively and sensitively in various situations, addressing concerns and complaints as necessary.

10. Represent the organization positively to visitors and maintain all required certifications.


Qualifications:

No prior experience is necessary; however, a valid CNA Certification is required.
