Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist our nursing staff in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide basic care and support, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Assist with exercises, ambulation, and transfer activities
  • Document care given and observations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in in-service training and education sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a State-approved nursing assistant training program
  • Registration with the State of Connecticut Registry
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and position residents with assistance
