About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at Soliant Education. As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of speech and language therapy services to individuals of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in conducting assessments and evaluations of clients' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Therapy Implementation: Implement individualized therapy plans and strategies as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to clients, including one-on-one and group sessions.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document clients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising SLP.
  • Resource Preparation: Prepare and organize therapy materials and resources.
  • Client Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Professional Development: Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or related field required; Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Certification: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or eligibility to obtain certification.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting is a plus.
