Position Summary

The Dining Room Server plays a crucial role in ensuring a delightful dining experience for our residents and their guests. Reporting to the Guest Service Supervisor and Guest Service Manager, this position adheres to established service protocols while working in the Main Dining Room and during special events. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, following safety and sanitation guidelines, and assisting with table settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide courteous service to residents and guests, addressing any dining inquiries, including daily specials.
  • After each meal, ensure tables are cleaned, linens are refreshed, and settings are prepared for the next service.
  • Complete all assigned opening and closing tasks efficiently.
  • Serve meals to residents and guests in a timely and pleasant manner, utilizing the Micros System for orders and billing.
  • Present food attractively, ensuring all plates are garnished and arranged appealingly.
  • Clear and transport dirty dishes and utensils to the designated cleaning area.
  • Restock supplies and prepare for upcoming meal services.
  • Consult with supervisors to ensure dietary requirements are met before making any menu adjustments.
  • Document all breakfast tray requests accurately for weekly planning.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and mandatory training requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a dining, banquet, or culinary setting is preferred.
Work Schedule

This position requires 20-25 hours per week, with shifts typically from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
