Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead our development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of verification, roles, access management, and account authorization integration with our disclosure systems undergoing a redesign effort.
  • Assist and sometimes lead development efforts with building, maintaining, and enhancing websites and web applications and backend services.
  • Plan and implement unit testing into the code and development life cycle.
  • Create, run, and review load tests to identify bottlenecks and latency issues.
  • Making recommendations and collaborating within a small team to implement optimizations, enhancements, and fixes.
  • Providing guidance and collaborating closely with a small development team.
  • Reviewing and troubleshooting bugs and reviewing change requests.

Requirements

Candidates need to have at least five years of relevant experience in the areas described below:

  1. Experience building applications with Python, Django, and Vue.js.
  2. Leading development teams as the Senior engineer on projects.
  3. Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipeline implementations.
  4. Working independently and in a team environment, guiding more junior developers on the team.
  5. Engaging with stakeholders and gathering requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Developing electronic filing web applications and systems.
  2. Developing responsive design websites/applications using CSS frameworks.
  3. 3rd party Verification providers.
  4. Implementing Authentication/Authorization frameworks and standards.
  5. IAL 1/2 standards.
  6. Unit testing tools.
