Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tiffin University. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for performing daily maintenance operations and activities in assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and installations of equipment and systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective work processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve operational problems and improve overall performance.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certification preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an HVAC technician or in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach; withstand exposure to vibrations and noise from machinery.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable for vehicle operation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Benefits:

Tiffin University offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 403b retirement plan, and tuition assistance.
