Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tiffin University. As a key member of our Facilities Department, you will be responsible for performing daily maintenance operations and activities in assigned areas. This includes developing effective work processes, solving operational problems, and ensuring compliance with appliance and OSHA standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system installation, maintenance, and repair. A strong understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems is essential. Additionally, you should possess the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, managers, subordinates, and the general public.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing daily maintenance operations and activities in assigned areas
  • Developing effective work processes and solving operational problems
  • Maintaining and repairing various HVAC systems
  • Ensuring compliance with appliance and OSHA standards
  • Surveys assigned work area to determine maintenance or construction needs; inspects work in progress for compliance with plans that are in place

In exchange for your expertise and dedication, we offer an estimated annual salary of $60,000-$80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
