Key Responsibilities

The Golub Capital Technology Solutions Department seeks a seasoned professional with expertise in Seismic (sales enablement application), business analysis, project management, and client engagement skills. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in Seismic, collaborating with various business units to foster relationships, promote product adoption, and develop a comprehensive understanding of business processes, systems, and technology requirements. Responsibilities include influencing the appropriate technology solutions and either configuring or coordinating with the vendor/development team for implementation.

The candidate should have substantial and recent experience as a Business Analyst and Project Manager, providing support to end-users at all organizational levels while working closely with development teams. Essential skills include strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, an inquisitive mindset, a commitment to exceptional service and relationship-building, self-motivation, resourcefulness, and a solid understanding of technology, along with a desire to gain hands-on expertise in relevant technology solutions.

This role is client-facing, requiring the maintenance of relationships and delivery for business stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership. Energy, persistence, and the ability to structure solutions around ambiguous business challenges are essential. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are critical for effectively conveying information to senior leadership.

Responsibilities include:
  • Stay informed about Seismic's diverse product offerings and their applicability to business needs within the organization.
  • Lead the Seismic product roadmap for implementation and adoption across the organization, balancing immediate and long-term priorities.
  • Analyze and comprehend complex business processes, presenting them in a clear and logical manner.
  • Develop comprehensive requirements documentation, including user stories, use cases, design specifications, business processes, data flows, and success criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams and Seismic vendors to clarify requirements and ensure application delivery aligns with business specifications.
  • Address support issues raised by the business, ensuring resolution within defined support SLAs, in collaboration with the Seismic vendor as necessary.
  • Gain expertise in the core business functions of the Marketing and Investor Partners Groups, understanding essential business applications and the technology solutions they require.
  • Exhibit resourcefulness in proactively identifying and engaging available resources and subject matter experts to achieve objectives.
  • Build strong, productive relationships with key business stakeholders, executive sponsors, technology colleagues, and vendors to communicate problems, requirements, and process improvements effectively.
  • Ensure all delivered solutions meet the highest quality standards and fulfill specified business requirements through thorough validation and testing, both independently and in collaboration with end-users.

Candidate Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Financial Services.
  • 5+ years of experience managing products end-to-end, from vision to execution and communication.
  • Proven business analysis and project management experience, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence stakeholders regarding solutions and decisions.
  • Expert understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly when collaborating with hybrid teams comprising staff and third-party vendors.
  • Experience with the Power BI reporting environment, including familiarity with reporting, dashboarding, and data visualization.
  • Significant experience working with revenue-generating organizations, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate product value clearly.
  • Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and a willingness to tackle all tasks.
