We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Alden Network. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our customers and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to customers, including administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Supervise nursing assistants and ensure they are following established policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for customers, including assessing their needs and developing goals for their care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure customers receive high-quality care.
- Document customer care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
- Current CPR certification or ability to become certified within two weeks of employment.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Ability to make independent decisions and work harmoniously with other personnel.
The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to customers with a variety of medical needs. The nurse will be required to move intermittently throughout the workday and cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
