Position Overview:

As a Sales Support Representative at Storr Office Environments, you will participate in an extensive training program lasting 12-18 months, designed to equip you for a full-time role in sales. Throughout this training, you will collaborate with the sales team, manage smaller sales opportunities, and develop the essential skills needed to thrive as an account manager. Your primary focus will be on gaining insights into the contract furniture sector, becoming acquainted with Storr's offerings, mastering internal processes, and refining your sales techniques.

  • Core Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Sales team with daily operations
  • Engage with potential clients via walk-ins and calls to identify their needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Storr's product and service portfolio
  • Enhance your selling capabilities for effective account management
  • Achieve designated training milestones
  • Understand internal systems and workflows
  • Meet quarterly sales goals and activity benchmarks
  • Attain specific customer satisfaction metrics and accuracy standards

Key Duties:

  • Conduct consultations with walk-in and call-in clients to evaluate their requirements and propose fitting solutions
  • Prepare quotes for clients and diligently follow up on outstanding proposals
  • Document sales activities in the CRM system
  • Oversee order fulfillment for assigned orders
  • Support Account Managers with various tasks, including product research, client visits, proposals, and presentations
  • Maintain an organized and presentable showroom environment
  • Develop expertise in products and sales strategies to facilitate your transition into an account manager position

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, interior design, or communications preferred
  • Prior experience in sales is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Windows-based computer systems
  • Strong communication skills with both clients and team members
  • Ability to accurately calculate discounts and pricing
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Collaborative team player with leadership potential and problem-solving skills
