Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team at the JFK School of Nursing. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Education: Implement classroom and/or clinical instruction, utilizing course objectives to structure and/or evaluate learning experiences. Actively counsel students in the achievement of course outcomes, and collaborate with Lead Teacher on student progress and related issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with Administration, Lead Teacher, Faculty, Medical Center Staff, and affiliating agencies to optimize student learning experiences. Follow School policies and procedures, participate in accreditation and evaluation processes, and complete E-Learning and Healthstream.
  • Professional Growth and Development: Maintain professional growth and development pertinent to educational responsibilities, and adhere to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Requirements:

  • Education: Masters Degree in Nursing or DNP.
  • Experience: Min. 2 yrs active nursing exp. preferably in nursing education.
  • Licenses and Certifications: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctorate.
