As the HDP Pharmacy Technician , you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.

Position Location: 5700 Com Ct. Suite 1000 Oviedo, FL 32765

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM EST, 40 hours per week

Primary Responsibilities:

• Dispense any or all of the following: tablets/capsules, unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures

• Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies, and patient collateral (education materials) are included. Perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units

• Prescription requests

• Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvements

• Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content

• Creation/ routing of pharmacy orders through receipt

• Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient calls

• Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system

• May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details

• Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities

• Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own function

• Acts as a technical resource to others in own function

• Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests

• Solves moderately complex problems on own

• Works with team to solve complex problems

• Plans, prioritizes, organizes, and completes work to meet established objectives

• Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction

• Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned

• Extensive work experience within own function

• Work is frequently completed without established procedures

• Works independently

• May coordinate other activities

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Active and unrestricted state NHA CpHT license OR the ability to obtain one of the listed licenses prior to start date

• 6+ months of experience in a warehouse/pharmacy

• Ability to work in office at 5700 Com Ct. Suite 1000 Oviedo, FL 32765, Monday – Friday between the hours of 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM EST (40 hours per week)

• Ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand for entire shift, a lot of walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift

• Comfortable working in warehouse environment (warehouse is climate controlled)

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, and lifting 25 to 50 lbs. frequently in a warehouse environment.
