Job Title: Accounts Payable Supervisor

Turner's Outdoorsman is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable team and processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of day-to-day functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Oversee the accurate completion of accounts payable tasks, including data entry, vendor payments, and general ledger coding.
  • Prepare and print daily/weekly check runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Review and verify all AP team voucher packages for accuracy, ensuring all discounts are taken before checks are signed.
  • Manage and maintain vendor relationships, including payment terms, banking information, and service agreements.
  • Process and reconcile corporate card accounts, including adding new users, canceling cards, and resolving fraud requests.
  • Perform various reconciliations of assigned GL accounts, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
  • Assist with property managers' inquiries and support annual audits by providing information and answering questions.
  • Recommend processes to improve effective and efficient operations within the department.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in Great Plains accounting software.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong data entry and calculator skills.
  • Must have strong computer skills, specifically MS Excel.
  • Must have previous accounting experience, finance, or related field of study.
  • Excellent people and telephone skills.
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
  • Must be dependable and reliable.
  • Progressive experience in full-cycle accounting/accounts payable processes.
  • Experience in the retail industry preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to use a computer proficiently and grasp instructions to new software programs.
  • Must be able to stand, sit for long periods of time, bend, and lift throughout the course of a scheduled shift.
Travel Requirements:
  • N/A.
Hours:
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
  • OT may be approved as needed.
