Position Overview

The PHP Atrium Medical Center is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to fulfill travel assignments. This role involves working on a 3x12 schedule, specifically from Friday to Sunday, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS certification through AHA is mandatory.
  • ARRT certification is required.
  • ODH certification is also necessary.
Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

  • Independently conduct diagnostic radiographic procedures while employing appropriate techniques and administering contrast media.
  • Operate within their professional scope and adhere to certification and licensure regulations concerning medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture.
  • Coordinate patient flow and manage activities within the Radiology Department.
  • Exercise professional judgment to ensure equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
  • Possibly perform procedures in other imaging modalities as required by departmental needs.
  • May have on-call responsibilities.
Experience and Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • An Associate degree in Allied Health, with a focus on Radiologic Technology.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting; preference for level 1 experience, but level 2 will be considered.
  • Travel experience is preferred.
  • Experience with GE equipment is essential.
Additional Information

Travelers must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. Please note that RTO requests should be included with the initial submission, as no RTO will be accepted post-offer. Approval for RTO will be at the discretion of the Manager. All submissions must include an application and a current report; additional certifications are not required if already listed on the application.

Compliance with I-9 requirements is mandatory, and subcontractors must provide an I-9 and E-Verify Attestation Form. Legal documentation for any name changes, such as a marriage license or divorce decree, must also be provided. Please be aware that travelers are not eligible for employee incentives.
