About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our medical oncology unit at CHRISTUS Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering personalized care and support to patients undergoing treatment for cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with routine and repetitive patient care activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse/Licensed Nurse.
  • Perform specific clerical, organizational, and patient-focused activities as required.
  • Complete pertinent documents and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members during and between shifts.
  • Respond to phone calls and patient call lights in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adapt assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate the unique needs of each patient served.

Requirements:

  • CNA License in state of employment required.
  • Patient care experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
