Physician - Family Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine physician to join our team at Ascension Providence in Waco, Texas. As a Family Medicine physician, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians.
- Act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
- Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.

Requirements- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board required.
