Join CVS Health as a Nurse Practitioner

CVS Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
  • Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness programs.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Epic experience preferred.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
