Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Family Medicine team at our Avon clinic. As a Nurse Practitioner with IU Health Physicians, you will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative and experienced team in a growing suburb.
Position Details- Full-time, Day Shift
- 36 hours/week
- Must have 2 hours outside of 8am-5pm per week
- 100% outpatient
- Expected patient volume is 60-70/week seeing children and adults
- Assess health status through obtainment of relevant health history and comprehensive physical exam, preventative screening, and identification of medical risk factors.
- Formulate appropriate differential diagnosis and identification of individual, family, and community needs.
- Develops treatment plan to maximize the health potential of the individual, family, and/or community.
- Orders and adjusts medication per collaborative written agreement and prescriptive authority in accordance with the Indiana Nurse Practice Act, or in consultation, and with signature of physician.
- Serves as a clinical resource for the nursing staff, physicians, hospital, and other healthcare providers.
- Serves as an advocate for patients, staff, and management.
- Manage acute and long-term care of the patient.
- Master's degree
- FNP certification
- Minimum clinical experience of 2 years
