Customer Service Representative

At AdaptHealth LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful service delivery to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a working knowledge of our current products and services.
- Customer Communication: Answer all calls and emails in a timely manner, adhering to our service standards.
- Documentation: Document all call information according to our standard operating procedures.
- Order Processing: Process orders, route calls to the appropriate resource, and follow up on customer calls as necessary.
- Insurance Verification: Complete insurance verification to determine patient eligibility, coverage, co-insurances, and deductibles.
- Pre-Authorization: Obtain pre-authorization if required by an insurance carrier and process physician orders to insurance carriers for approval and authorization.
- EMR System Navigation: Navigate through multiple online EMR systems to obtain applicable documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Meet quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics.
- Problem-Solving: Facilitate resolution on customer complaints and problem-solving.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One (1) year work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center, or management.
