Clinical Pharmacy Manager

The Clinical Pharmacy Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients at Maury Regional Medical Center. This role involves leading a team of pharmacists and technicians, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and coordinating medication use processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to promote safe and effective medication therapy use
- Coordinate medication use processes, including formulary development and management
- Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing training and development opportunities
- Collaborate with hospital committees and departments to improve medication use and patient outcomes
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree required
- Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Tennessee
- Completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency and a minimum of 3 years of relevant pharmacy practice experience, or
- Completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 and PGY2 residencies and a minimum of one year of relevant pharmacy practice experience, or
- Has a minimum of 5 years of relevant pharmacy practice experience if they have not completed an ASHP-accredited residency
- Board certification is preferred in any BPS specialty
- Some pharmacy leadership or management experience is required; a minimum of 2 years is preferred
