Electrical Systems Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Maintenance Technician to join our team at RSG Forest Products. As an Electrical Systems Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting 480V 3-phase electrical systems, as well as programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting PLCs. You will also ensure all electrical systems are operating efficiently and safely, perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance, and collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs.
  • Ensure all electrical systems are operating efficiently and safely.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Journeyman's license or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience with an emphasis in troubleshooting motor control circuits.
  • Experience working with Allen Bradley Motor Control Centers and PLCs is highly desirable.
  • Experience and troubleshooting VFD-controlled circuits.
  • Solid background in 480 Volt three-phase, single-phase, and DC systems.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electric Code.
