We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team at Good Samaritan Hospital. The ideal candidate will provide support to medical professionals in a clinical setting, ensuring efficient patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Perform medical administrative tasks such as patient intake, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical records.
  • Administer medications under the direction of a physician.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests and record results.
  • Take and record vital signs accurately.
  • Provide patient education on medication administration and inhalation techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in medical terminology and coding.
  • Knowledge of basic life support techniques.
  • Familiarity with physiology and anatomy.
  • Strong attention to detail in recording patient information.
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Bilingualism is a plus.
