Job TitleCommercial Maintenance Technician
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Commercial Maintenance Technician to deliver effective, efficient, and timely delivery of our line of services to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds, as well as conducting face-to-face relationships with customers to meet their requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Completes preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements.
- Performs minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems, including unclogging toilets and drains, repairing leaks, and replacing fixtures as needed.
- Performs routine painting, carpentry work, and other tasks to maintain facilities in like-new condition.
- Performs minor electrical maintenance, including repairing or replacing fixtures, wall switches, and outlets.
- Completes service inspections and asset inspections as needed.
- Fully utilizes technology to access and complete work orders, create and submit service reports, and submit timesheets and expense reports.
- Obtains necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks.
- Creates a positive climate with customers, provides customer satisfaction, and maintains timely and consistent communications with internal support teams.
- Obtains and completes EFS required safety and compliance training and attends weekly safety meetings.
- Provides estimates for larger projects and services needed on-site.
- HS diploma or degree/certification, or equivalent professional experience in landscaping, trades, or specialty floor care, preferred.
- Two to five years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other trade skills, required.
- Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates ability to perform duties and responsibilities, including related work experience in one or more of the building trades.
- Past background in the landscape, janitorial, or construction-related services industries highly preferred.
- Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license in good standing.
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration.
