Nurse Manager Cardiac Med-Surgical Unit Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Cardiac Med-Surg Unit at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight to the Cardiac Med-Surg Unit, ensuring the delivery of safe, quality patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to meet legal, accrediting, and regulatory agency requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, patients, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Develop and implement ongoing programs to measure, monitor, and improve quality of nursing care delivered to patients.
- Ensure effective coordination of patient care with other services and departments throughout the hospital.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
- ASN required, BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- 3 years previous experience in an acute care setting.
- Management specialty certification required within 6 months of eligibility; unit specialty certification also preferred.
