We are in search of a committed Automotive Service Dispatcher to enhance our thriving Service Department and ensure our clients receive outstanding service. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a timely manner
- Collect detailed customer and vehicle information
- Accurately document vehicle issues as described by the customer
- Assess and recommend necessary maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history
- Prepare precise cost estimates for labor and parts
- Set follow-up appointments
- Track the status of each vehicle throughout the day, providing regular updates to customers
- Ensure final invoices match the work completed on repair orders
- Clarify all completed services and charges to customers
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment for our clients
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a service department, independent shop, or dealership
- Ability to work diligently with minimal supervision
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledgeable about automotive systems
- Exhibit a positive demeanor
- Possess a high-volume work mentality
- Willingness to work on Saturdays
- Consistent five-day work schedule with one weekday off and Sundays off
- Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug tests)
