We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Reporting Coordinator to join our team at RadNet. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting radiologists with dictations and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clinical operation teams to ensure seamless support for radiologist dictations and reporting.
- Work closely with radiologists to provide RIS support and ensure efficient workflow management.
- Partner with the System Solutions Team to implement and adjust workflows to improve case distribution and management.
- Manage radiologist worklists, including All Problem, All Pending Dictation, Critical Results, All Pending, and All Suspended, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Collaborate with Clinical System Solution Teams to test and implement new software and functionalities related to radiologist workflows.
- Present findings and recommendations as part of workflow and software implementation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner, and following established protocols.
- Call referring physicians to assist radiologists with delivering critical results findings, following established protocols.
- Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
- Provide coverage for all positions within case management and reporting division as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in a clinical or science-related area or equivalent work experience.
- Two (2) years in healthcare communications and/or customer service work experience.
- Multi-vendor IS experience with RIS/PACS.
- Demonstrate strong customer service, multitasking, critical thinking, persuasion, and analytical abilities, with superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision making to achieve organizational objectives.
- High level of proficiency and demonstrated effectiveness in problem determination and resolution.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
