Job Summary:

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of CT equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic CT examinations under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the ARRT.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for optimal image capture
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Perform quality control checks on equipment

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
  • State license as a Radiological Practical Technician
  • Vocational school graduate
