Job Summary

The Multi-Modality Rad Technol position at UF Health requires a skilled and experienced technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be credentialed in at least two (2) different Radiology modalities and have a strong understanding of radiographic procedures and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Perform imaging procedures in MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine modalities
Support second or additional modalities on a routine basis
Provide on-call coverage for these modalities
Strive to provide patient-centered care and uphold the standard of practice of a registered technologist

Qualifications

Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline
Preferred Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
Necessary Skills: Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices, ability to communicate exams/procedures to patients, knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot, familiarity with imaging equipment and patient care equipment
Required Licensure/Certifications: BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS
Required Experience: 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience
