The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000, depending on experience, with the potential for flexible working hours and a dynamic team environment.

Job Overview:

Cyber Security Consultant will be responsible for protecting sensitive data and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Security Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with industry standards and regulations.
  • Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Analysis: Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and weaknesses.
  • Security Policy Enforcement: Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
  • Incident Response: Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely and effective manner.
  • Compliance and Certification: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as NIST CSF, PCI, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to staff on security best practices to enhance overall security awareness.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organization.
  • Security Protocols and Systems: Regularly review and update security protocols and systems to ensure they remain effective and efficient.
  • Security Metrics and Reporting: Report on security metrics and provide recommendations for improvement to senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with cloud security, network security, and endpoint protection.
