About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Manager to join our team at Global Partners. As a Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient execution of all fresh food and food service programs in compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the selection, development, and training of all associates in the department.
  • Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all guests, responding to guest complaints or inquiries, and soliciting feedback.
  • Oversee inventory and ordering of product and supplies, and ensure routine maintenance and upkeep of the food service equipment and facilities.
  • Analyze food service results and trends, preparing action plans to leverage the store's fresh food strengths and address areas of opportunity.
  • Execute the training, coaching, and performance management of food service guest service associates.
  • Ensure execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Flexibility to work weekend, holiday, and/or evening shifts, and assist other locations as needed.
  • Two years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a management role.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Serv-Safe certification preferred.
