Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at U.S. Facilities, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of boilers, chillers, energy management systems, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters, and charts to ensure safe and efficient operation of the system.
  • Adjust controls to meet demands for service provided and record various aspects of the system's operation.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance, operate building automation systems, and monitor the performance and condition of water treatment systems.
  • Conduct equipment/system watches and tours, inspect and monitor for proper operation, and make equipment/system adjustments as required.
  • Maintain records of maintenance services, repairs, supplies, fuel consumption, etc.
  • Makes moderate repairs of a mechanical nature.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of maintenance experience and an additional two (2) years' experience in a boiler room, attending boilers and chillers (large commercial facility preferred).
  • Ability to operate building automation systems.
  • Possess a current license as a Stationary Engineer, First Grade.
  • Refrigeration certification.
  • Must provide own basic hand tools and test equipment.
  • Capable of reading blueprints, drawings, layouts.
  • Must be able to read and speak English clearly.
  • Valid driver's license.
