Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Superintendent to join our team at Flowers Foods. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and directing the work of production and other manufacturing supervisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production plans to ensure cost-effective and quality production of products.
  • Monitor and control production disruptions and losses.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate and report on accidents and near-miss incidents.
  • Perform shift supervisory duties as required.
  • Develop and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience.
Benefits
  • Up to 10% bonus potential on top of salary.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to move rapidly and unimpeded throughout the plant.
  • Ability to crawl under and climb on to machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to enter and exit confined spaces.
Sensory Requirements
  • Ability to view products for proper size and color.
  • Ability to distinguish color-coded equipment and operating guides.
Communication Requirements
  • Ability to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and practice necessary safety procedures.
